A manufacturer of exercise equipment contracted with
EAS to design and install a ventilation / filtering system for their
fabrication shop. Custom designed hoods capture welding fume from both
manual and robotic welding.

Outside view shows the cartridge type filter system
used. Efficiency is 99.9% at 1 micron. Fan is a 250 hp unit rated for
85,000 cfm. Note the air diverter on fan outlet that allows all or a
partial amount of filtered air be returned to the shop. |
